You will truly appreciate this Xbox 360 Steering Wheel if you are a REAL driver. Microsoft have developed this wheel to closely replicate the real driving experience…and they’ve pulled it off very well.
You will have noticed that many force feedback wheels shudder and shake violently when you take a bend at high speed, which is fine. If, however, you have done the same in a real car, you will know that a real steering wheel doesn’t behave that way – although your limbs may!
It is great to see something designed realistically and built for proper enthusiasts and thanks to Microsoft, this is it.
Now, the headline feature of this wheel, of course, is that its wireless. Microsoft have used the same 2.4 GHz technology as they used on both their Wireless Headset and Wireless Controller, giving trouble free integrated connectivity to your console and seamless gameplay.
Be aware, that although this is a Wireless Steering Wheel, the foot pedals need to be physically connected to the Wheel by the cable provided and that in order to enable the force feedback, the wheel console must be connected to a power source with the included adapter. None of this, however, in any way diminishes the fantastic experience of being physically free of your Xbox 360 console and of experiencing an outstandingly authentic driving experience.
